What To Expect

What a delightfully dirty day.

Run, walk, climb, crawl—you will experience it all in this adventure race. With adventure obstacle course names like H2OMG and PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff), you can expect to laugh until your cheeks hurt. But don't worry, if you get to an obstacle that's more than a challenge for you—hey, take one of the adventure races detours. Also expect safety throughout. Expect the fun obstacle course runs competition to go on rain or shine. Expect not to be timed on the adventure runs. Expect some crazy team uniforms. Expect to put your mud run training to the test. Expect to leave with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. Now, check out the fun run obstacle course:

Barn Burner

Climb up higher than you ever thought you would go. Once at the top, there is nowhere to go but to gently bounce back down to the ground.

Get a Grip

All that rope ladder training you've been doing is about to pay off, kind of. Climb like you've never climbed before and holler out when you ring that bell.

Utopian Tubes

It’s wet and muddy in those tubes. Follow the light as you crawl through the short tunnel and emerge on the other side, muddy and laughing until your belly aches.

Get Over Yourself!

It’s an eight foot wall to climb up and over. And yes, there are a few steps along the way. This is your chance to shine, and lend a helping hand to your fellow Dirty Girls.

You Go Girl!

Like high-stepping through tires, but pink and with more padding. This one really gets your heart pumping.

PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff)

Dirty Girls are Pretty and this Stuff is Muddy. Hop in the pit, run through and get to the other side. Pretty Muddy Simple.

Runaway Bride

As with all runaway brides, you never really know what’s going to happen. Up and over? Down and under? Expect the unexpected and some variety.

Amaze Yourself!

Twist, turn, step or crawl. Get through the bungee maze any way you can. No one is judging on style points.

H2OMG

Heard of water-aerobics? This is more like muddy-water-aerobics. Your job; climb in and get to the other side any way you want. Water wings are not required.

Down and Dirty

It's like crawling under the fence when you were a kid...you still giggle a bit, but there is a lot more mud and the fence is 40 feet long.

Dirty Dancing

Remember climbing up and going down that huge playground slide in elementary school and landing in a massive mud pit? No? Well, here’s your chance!

Funky Monkey

Watch your hands and feet as they all go in different directions, find something to grab, as you climb up, across and down a massive rope-lined funky fortress.

EVENT DAY INSTRUCTIONS

PACKET PICK-UP

We ask that you show up a minimum of 1hr before your respective wave starts to pick up your race day packet*. In order to retrieve your packet, you’ll need a photo ID. Your packet will include your race bib with safety pins, and your Dirty Girl jewelry charm. Your race bib should be secured to the front of your shirt using the provided safety pins. *Race packets are only available the day of the event. Packets will not be shipped prior to event

PARKING

Parking will vary per location. Check your respective location for further info. Parking space will be limited so go green, save some gas money and carpool!

WHAT TO WEAR

We encourage you to wear anything you feel comfortable running in– anything. It just has to be anything you don’t mind getting dirty. We do, however, recommend a solid pair of running shoes, towels, a garbage bag, and a change of clothes. And since dirt and sunburns don’t mix, plan ahead by packing some waterproof sunscreen.

THINGS TO BRING

Proper footwear. Leave the stilettos at home. We recommend a lightly used trail shoe with decent tread to help get you up, over, around, and through our obstacles. We’ll be collecting unwanted racer shoes after the race and recycling them.
Proper clothing. Dress for the elements.

Cash. If you feel the need to fill your belly or wet your whistle, libations and local fare will be available in our Sponsor Village.

Change of clothes/towel. We will have a bag check, so you can leave your change of clothes/towel with us during the race and retrieve after. If you’d like to hose yourself down and tidy-up before hitting the Sponsor Village and getting your party on, a rinse station and enclosed changing tent will be available.

Great attitude! This will be the most fun you have all year.
No outside alcoholic beverages or glass bottles allowed

Dirty Girl Charitable Giving

Here at Dirty Girl, we respect and admire breast cancer survivors, and at every event we celebrate their triumph. While we are a for-profit event company, the cause of finding a cure, educating women and helping those who are currently dealing with Breast Cancer is what we believe in. After all, the Dirty Girl way is to jump in, get dirty, and fight!

Dirty Girl supports breast cancer charity organizations in each of our event markets with a cash donation that we intend to be used in your community. By participating in a Dirty Girl Mud Run you’ve already have made a difference by financially and physically making a stand against Breast Cancer.
